Our Mission
Inspired by the bravery and selflessness of our friend Brittany Holzhauer and her CureNET Project, we founded this nonprofit to help other families and nonprofits.
Our mission is to raise funds for various nonprofits and causes, supporting those in need and creating a ripple effect of compassion and hope. Together, we can lift others up, like the rising tides that lift all boats.
Meet the Founders
A dedicated pharmacist at St. Elizabeth, Shelbi Adams brings her medical insights and compassion to the Rising Tides Foundation. Her experience in the healthcare field fuels her commitment to support others, knowing firsthand the challenges faced by those dealing with serious illnesses.
Scott Adams, a real estate professional with a keen business acumen, brings his organizational skills and network to drive the Rising Tides Foundation's fundraising initiatives. His passion for community building mirrors his professional life, where he helps families find their perfect homes.
Our Story
Last winter, a spark ignited in our hearts as we attended an event supporting Brittany's CureNET Project. Brittany's mission and her own struggle with NET, an incurable cancer, moved us deeply. The realization that Brittany's family could not benefit from the funds she raised compelled us to act. We founded the Rising Tides Foundation to raise funds for nonprofits like CureNET and families like the Holzhauers.
Events
We host annual events, galas, and fundraisers to support different causes. Our inaugural event on October 7th will benefit both the CureNET Project and the Holzhauer family, with half the proceeds going to each cause.
